Since 2017, the founding organizations of CMAC have come together to envision Edge on the Square, a place-based cultural hub that celebrates, explores, and supports leading and pioneering creative expressions at the intersection of community, art, and multi-racial democracy. Located at 800 Grant Avenue, is programming will celebrate belonging and equity, highlighting the creativity, innovation, and resilience of Asian Pacific Islander experiences. Edge on the Square aims to cultivate an inventive and collaborative model for contemporary art experimentation and visitor experience by harnessing the energy and excitement of art and media to expand the neighborhood’s dynamic artistic and cultural diversity, as well as our understanding of our collective history and the full spectrum of American pluralism.
